That victory was against Kano Seamans Energy team was probably the impetus that fired up the Lagos Low Cup as Lagos Ironclad came from behind to deny arch rivals, Ashbert Raiders the coveted Low Cup in a tense final decided before a crowded stands at the foremost Ribadu Road Polo ground in Ikoyi, Lagos.

“We want to thank our supporters for their trust and urging us on even when we fell behind in the opening chukkers. It was a sweet victory that would be celebrated for a long time to come, because defeating a strong and experienced team like Ashbert take a lot of courage,” declared an elated Jolaoso.

KANO MANARAT WINS GOVERNOR'S CUP.

Kano Manarat beats LNHP 9 1/2 goals to 8

The Governor’s cup tussle came to an end yesterday as the cracker between Kano Manarat and LNHP ended with Kano Manarat winning the title. The match which was the high point of yesterday’s matches as the MTN LPC int’l tournament entered day 4, was a match with so many activities. There was a strong synergy among the manarat team which was orchestrated by the patron of team, Najib Galadanci.

Spectators were thrilled by both teams as they both displayed high sense of horse controls and coordinated strokes and passes. Spectators were marveled by the way and manners the manarat boys scored goals.
By the stroke of the mallet, they scored from any angle. This is one difficult move which only a few polo players could demonstrate.
Although, it was not an easy win for Manarat as LNHP gave a good fight before they finally bowed down to the supremacy of Manarat.
